82年前,谭其骧先生在《禹贡半月刊》的发刊词中曾经提出禹贡学会未来的几个工作方向,其中一项就是要“完成清人未竟之业,把每一代的地理志都加以一番详密的整理”。~①事实上,中国现代历史地理学在很大程度上也的确是继承了清代的地理学研究。时至今日,中国历史地理学取得的巨大成就,一方面离不开老一辈学人的艰苦创业和辛勤耕耘,同时,更离不开清代学人提供的母体和营养。所以,有必要再回过
