西拉雅文是17世纪荷兰占据台湾岛期间由荷兰宗教人员为平埔族群西拉雅人创制的一种拉丁文字,这种文字一直沿用到19世纪30年代。本文利用荷兰的中国台湾文献档案和存世的西拉雅文献讨论这种文字的创制背景及其在不同时期的演变。
Sirayanavan was a type of Latin language created by Dutch religious workers for the Siam Masks of the Pingpu ethnic group during the Dutch occupation of the island of Taiwan in the 17th century. This text has been used in the 1830s. This article uses the literature and archives of Chinese Taiwan in the Netherlands and the Sirayan documents of surviving to discuss the creation background of this writing and its evolution in different periods.
