外来词的出现是语言与文化交流接触中必不可少的现象,英语和汉语虽然处于不同的语系和文化之下,却不可避免地相互借用了大量的外来词。模因论视角下,外来词被看成是语言模因的一种,外来词的翻译即模因在不同语言文化间的复制传播过程。本文在模因视角下探讨归化异化翻译方式对英汉外来词互借产生的影响及全球大融合的背景下,异化为主多元互补的翻译策略可以更好地把一种文化呈现给另一种文化,不同的民族特色和文化形象展现顺应文化融合的潮流。
The appearance of loanwords is an indispensable phenomenon in the contact of language and culture. Although English and Chinese are under different languages and cultures, they are inevitably borrowing a large number of loanwords. From the perspective of memetics, loanwords are regarded as a kind of language memes. The translation of loanwords is the process of copying and transmission of memes between different languages and cultures. This paper explores the influence of domestication and foreignization translation on the loan of English and Chinese loanwords in the context of meme and under the background of global convergence. The translation strategy of alienation as the mainstay of multiple complementation can better present one culture to another Culture, different national characteristics and cultural images show the trend of conformity to cultural integration.
