东风电机厂焊接分厂和技术开发部合作,研制成功《水轮机蜗壳环精确下料程序》。该程序采用了直角坐标法来表示下料图形,不仅使划线工序简单易行,而且提高了展开精度,实现了“精确下料”。双河电站三台水轮机蜗壳环的加工实践表明,采用该程序后,不仅下料图形计算速度提高几百倍,而且还使划线工效提高近十倍,焊接工效提高75%,累计缩短工期三个多月。此外还节约了钢材,保证蜗壳环的型线质量,经济效益十分明显。
