为了进一步贯彻落实“以农业为基础、工业为主导”发展国民经济的方针,加速磷矿地质工作,国家计委地质局和石油化工部化学矿山局,于一九七五年五月二十二日到六月四日,在武昌召开了全国磷矿地质工作会议。参加会议的有各省、市、自治区地质局、化工局,有关地质队、设计院、生产矿山、地质科研、有关院校,以及国家建委建材局、冶金部、二机部、中国科学院,山东荣城县、辽宁复县、福建长汀县等有关单位的代表,共二百八十六人。
