近年来,我国出现很多自行设计的新式机床,其中有的机床,无论是强度和结构设计上或外形造型上,确有独到之处。但是,大多数机床,对于润滑系统的设计,至今还是采用油池、油杯、油孔式古老的手工加油润滑方式,导致机床零件得不到适当润滑,不是因加油过多,造成浪费、污染环境,就是因缺乏滑油产生干摩擦,从而加速零件磨损。因此,改进机床的润滑设计,显然具有重大的意义。(一)现行机床润滑设计的状况机床的各种润滑很多,润滑设计也各有千秋。其中如C620普通车床、X62W万能铣床的变速箱,都采用油泵飞溅式润滑。这种方式,对于变速箱这种封闭机构来说,无疑是合理的。
