There is a hidden tradition in the French construction practice, which is how the government intervenes in the public sector commissioned project. This tradition began in the Louis XIV dynasty, when the Royal Academy was established as a mediator for a long period of time. The role of the government in the field of modern architecture takes new forms. Consider carefully that these are all well-suited to changing circumstances. During the war, the government weakened its influence. This facilitates the initiative of local authorities and allows them to have contact with innovative architects in some projects. Since then, during the post-war reconstruction period since 1945, the government has intervened and actively directed new public sector projects.
