A LiTaO3 electro-optical phase modulator with periodic polarity reversal structure is reported. The quasi-speed matching between microwave and light is achieved at a modulation frequency of 16.25GHz. In the synthesis of ultrashort optical pulse experiment obtained 57rad modulation at 16.25GHz, the modulation bandwidth of 1.85THz (FWHM)
