贵州省水能资源理论蕴藏量1584.37亿kW.h,平均功率18086.4MW;技术可开发装机容量19487.9MW,年电量778.0亿kW.h;经济可开发装机容量18980.65MW,年电量754.58亿kW.h。随着西部大开发的实施,西电东送工程的启动,贵州水电迎来了开发热潮,全省水电开发形成了以大型为主、中型为辅、小型补充的格局。对全省水能资源分布情况、特点、开发现状等方面进行了全面的阐述,并对贵州省水能资源开发利用的前景及需要注意的问题进行了初步分析。

The economically developable installed capacity of 18,980.65MW and annual electricity consumption of 75.458 billion kW.h .
