Bethel Orrmann is a professor of political science at New York University in the United States and a famous Marxist scholar in the United States. He authored and edited a number of books on Marxism and socialism, mainly including “Alienation: Marx’s Theory on People in Capitalist Society” (1971), “Social and Gender Revolutions” (1979), “Studies in Dialectics ”(1993),“ Leftist Institute --- Marxist Academic Research on the Campus of the United States ”(Co-edited, Volume Three, 1982, 1984, 1986),“ Market Socialism- Debate among Socialist Scholars ” (Eds., 1998). In order to promote Marxism, he also invented a game of chess --- “class struggle” and registered a patent. Since 2001, he has successively published three books, “How to Take the Examination ... How to Transform the World” (2001), “The Capitalist? -the Real Confession of a Marxist Entrepreneur” (2002) and “Dialectics of Dances: Marx’s Methodological Steps” (2000). In March 2004, the U.S. Journal of Political Affairs published an interview with him and asked him to give a brief introduction of the contents of the three books and their historical background and practical significance. This article is a compilation of this interview.
