自1974年Russell Ross指出平滑肌生长因子对动脉硬化发生的重要性以来,以血小板生长因子(plteletderived growth factor,PDGF)为主的各种生长因子和动脉硬化的关系一直在进行着研究。至今已弄清血管内皮、巨噬细胞、平滑肌等血管壁细胞是与血小板不相上下的重要PDGF的来源,除PDGF以外,上皮生长因子(EGF)、神经纤维生长因子(FGF)转化生长因子(TGF)等多种生长因子也与动脉硬化有关。最近,存在于动脉硬化灶中的活化T淋巴细胞及淋巴细胞产生的细胞因子的作用也正被人们重视。通过近十多年的研究,现已弄清了生长因子对动脉硬化发生所起到的重要作用,并认为血管内皮细胞在高胆固醇血症、吸烟等危险因素存在的情况下,
Since 1974 Russell Ross pointed out the importance of smooth muscle growth factor in the development of atherosclerosis, the relationship between various growth factors and atherosclerosis, such as plteletderived growth factor (PDGF), has been studied. Up to now, it has been clarified that vascular wall cells such as vascular endothelium, macrophages, and smooth muscle are the sources of important PDGF that are comparable to platelets. In addition to PDGF, epithelial growth factor (EGF), nerve growth factor (FGF) transforming growth factor TGF) and other growth factors are also related to arteriosclerosis.
