针对当前中职生职业竞争力不强,与现代社会所要求的能持续发展的创新型技能人才不相吻合;中职学校原有教学内容、课程体系不能支撑创新型技能人才培养;原有的教学方法与中职生创新素质、创新能力培养不相符合等问题,学校于2002年率先提出在中职学校开展创新教育,并坚持数十年持续探索,形成了“六结合”的鲜明特色,取得了很好的实践成效。
