10多年来,区域社会经济史的研究开始受到广泛的关注,江南地区则是众人瞩目的焦点。但总的来说,国内研究较分散零碎,国外研究则流于构建某种范式,显得抽象与笼统。最近,江苏人民出版社出版了段本洛教授和单强博士的《近代江南农村》,共55万言。此书避免了江南社会经济史研究中的上述缺陷。综观全书,有以下三个显著特色; 第一,方法求新颖。该书作者善于利用相关学科的研究方法,成功地把历史学、社会学、经济学与心理学融汇贯通。对江南农村400余年的发展作了历史性考察,对江南农村社会结构进行横向剖析,并进而把研究逐步从自然环境、经济环境推向社会环境和心态环境,丝丝入扣、层层相因,使人耳目一新。
For more than 10 years, the study of regional social and economic history began to receive widespread attention, while the southern region was the focus of attention. However, in general, the domestic research is more fragmented and the foreign research is based on the construction of a paradigm that is abstract and general. Recently, Jiangsu People’s Publishing House published Professor Duan Benluo and Dr. Shan Qiang’s “Modern Jiangnan Rural Areas” totaling 550,000 words. This book avoids the above shortcomings in the study of social and economic history in Jiangnan. Looking at the book, there are three distinctive features; First, the method of novelty. The author of the book is good at making use of the research methods of relevant disciplines and successfully integrates history, sociology, economics and psychology. Made a historic investigation of the development of rural areas in the south of the Yangtze River for more than 400 years and conducted a horizontal analysis of the rural social structure in the southern part of the Yangtze River and further pushed the research from the natural environment and the economic environment to the social environment and state of mind. Refreshing.
