中粮集团2009年11月9日被《时代周报》推选为“2009中国十大营销事件”候选公司之一。其在推荐理由中说:2009年初,已经拥有6家上市公司的中粮将负债累累的五谷道场纳入旗下,借此打进方便面市场;6月底,中粮宣布进军此前从未涉足的高浓度果汁市场;7月中粮拿下困境中的蒙牛进军乳业,中粮集团建设一个基本涵盖所有重要食品领域的“全产业链”的触角正越伸越长。
