The limited flow caused by solid deposits in the pipe is a serious problem on the field. Most solutions involve the use of aromatic solvents for the treatment of asphaltenes, chemical or heat treatment of waxes. This article discusses minimizing solid deposits by changing the fluid flow characteristics. The principles of fluid and heat flow applications are the key to the method described here
