中共成立后,在短短20多年内,用马克思主义阶级分析和阶级话语,对国民党的阶级属性曾经先后定性为“四个革命阶级的联盟”、“地主买办阶级政党以及民族资产阶级”、“地主资产阶级”、“大地主大资产阶级”、“资产阶级”、“地主官僚资产阶级的政治代表”等。期间,国民党的指导思想与主要经济政策没有什么变化,它的阶级属性应该是比较固定的。但是国民党对外国势力、对中国革命的态度却在不断地变化,使近代中国的政局变化多端莫测。这些必然影响到中国共产党对国民党的判断,不得不多次对其阶级属性反复斟酌,采取又联合又斗争的复杂方式。两党关系如此这般,皆缘于中国近代社会的双重矛盾、双重任务与两党所代表的不同阶级利益。国共两党的关系也时而因民族矛盾上升趋于联合,时而因阶级矛盾上升趋于紧张,长期变化多端,最终势不两立。
After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, in just 20 years, with the analysis of Marxist class and class discourse, the class attributes of the Kuomintang have been successively defined as “alliances of the four revolutionary classes”, “the landlord-government class parties and the national bourgeoisie ”,“ Landlord bourgeoisie ”, “ big landlords big bourgeoisie ”, “ bourgeoisie ”, “ landlord bureaucratic bourgeois political representatives ”and so on. During the period, the Guomindang’s guiding ideology and major economic policies have not changed much. Its class nature should be relatively fixed. However, the Kuomintang’s attitude towards foreign forces and the Chinese revolution is constantly changing, making the political situation in modern China unpredictable. These will inevitably affect the judgment of the Chinese Communist Party against the Kuomintang and must repeatedly consider its class attributes repeatedly and adopt a complicated way of combination and struggle. The bipartisan relations are so common because of the double contradictions and dual tasks of the modern Chinese society and the different class interests represented by the two parties. The relations between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party are sometimes united by the rise of ethnic contradictions from time to time. However, as the rise of class conflicts tends to be tense and long-term changes have taken place, they are ultimately irreconcilable.
