从礼貌原则看中学教师汉语间接批评言语行为

教师批评是指教师对学生的优点、缺点或错误的评论。相比较直接批评而言,被批评者更愿意接受间接批评,即批评的言外之力是通过另一种言语行为以间接的方式来表现,从而使听众的脸面在一定程度上得到满足。本文从语用学礼貌原则的角度对所收集语料中中学教师口头批评语言中的间接批评进行分析,作者指出礼貌批评策略能减少对学生的面子威胁,从而使批评更易于接受。因此,教师在批评过程中要采用合理的礼貌策略,即尊重学生,兼顾自己的利益,同时考虑第三方(家长)的感受。另外,作者介绍了教师批评中常用的礼貌批评策略,包括使批评语言幽默化,在批评中使用模糊限制语,移情和尊重第三方(家长),这些策略有助于优化师生关系,使批评易于接受从而达到有效批评的目的。 Teacher criticism refers to teachers’ comments on the strengths, weaknesses, or mistakes of students. Compared with direct criticism, critics are more willing to accept the indirect criticism that the power of criticism is manifested indirectly through another verbal act, so that the face of the audience to some extent be satisfied. From the perspective of the pragmatic principles of politeness, this essay analyzes the indirect criticism of secondary school teachers’ oral criticisms in the collected corpus. The author points out that the polite criticism strategy can reduce the face threat to students and make the criticism more acceptable. Therefore, teachers in the process of criticizing the use of reasonable polite tactics, that is, respect for students, taking into account their own interests, taking into account the feelings of third parties (parents). In addition, the author introduces common tactics of polite criticism in teacher criticism, including humorous criticism, the use of hedges in empathy, empathy and respect for third parties (parents) that help to optimize the relationship between teacher and student Criticism is easy to accept so as to achieve the purpose of effective criticism.
