According to the official website of the State Administration of Work Safety, in the recent 5 years, at least 17 bridges collapsed in the country, causing a total of more than 200 casualties. Nearly 60% of the bridges in the collapsed bridge have a life span of less than 20 years, of which two have not yet been built yet. In the early hours of July 15, 2011, a collapse occurred in the approach bridge deck of Qianjiang Third Bridge in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, but it was completed and opened to traffic for only 14 years. And with it in the Qiantang River Qiantang River Bridge (one of the founders of China’s modern bridge project Mao Yisheng presided over the construction), 74 have been still used as usual. After a lapse of several decades, people think of Mao Yisheng, Qiantang River Bridge has also been touted as today’s Internet users “Bridge strong ”. “Environment and Life” magazine invited the Mao family descendants Mao Qing (Mao Yisheng third younger brother to a new granddaughter), write “Mao Yisheng bridge.”
