This paper argues that since the birth of Apollo’s “Know Your Own”, Western literature has always examined the value of human life and its noumenon with its inherent aesthetic approach. In the western literature, the image of the human being is defined as the god, the hero, the ordinary people and the surplus people, and then to the dehumanizing alien object. The western literature in different periods stand on different fulcrums in an attempt to grasp the eternal determination of the human beings Sex. However, there is no end to the road of self-realization. This eternal “mystery of Sphinx” has become an encyclical fate that can not be guessing. It permeates the tradition of Western literature.
