有人形容中国陶瓷史就是一部中国文明史,近5000年的中华大地几乎每个时期都与陶瓷有着千丝万缕的联系。秦汉以前的陶瓷古朴自然、唐代瓷器雄浑大气、宋代瓷器精致内敛、元代瓷器一枝独秀,而明代瓷器浓艳多姿、清代瓷器彰显繁缛富丽,到了民国时期瓷器则良莠不齐。可以说能从瓷器上找到每一个时代的影子,这就是文物收藏的史料价值所在。
