The BBK SARRIKO center combines two differentiated uses: as an elderly residence and as a low-rent apartment for young people. All 168 apartments are adapted for the disabled. The main design challenge is to give the building the ability to evolve the idea that almost no need for any renovation work, you can gradually shift the building from the first use to the second use. In addition to the apartment and its associated service facilities, the newly built 20,000 m2 new center has important public facilities of a certain size: two meeting halls for BBK owners, social and cultural facilities, Parking lot used by users. Public areas include restaurants, function rooms and occupational and activity rooms (including TV room, auditorium, entertainment and occupational therapy rooms, library and electronic reading room).
