Hemudu Town of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province is the birthplace of the famous Hemudu Culture in China and abroad. As early as 7000 years ago, Hemudu people have cultivated rice and created a brilliant “rice culture” in history. Rice has always been a traditional crop planted by the local farmers. Since the 1990s, however, local farmers have increased the efficiency of their agricultural production. Under the dual guidance of the government and the market, they have begun to adjust the structure of the agricultural industry in the original plain rice.
