引言本文着重介绍Yamada等人的研究工作。反铁电液晶(AFLC)在电场作用下呈现三稳态,在理论和实际方面已引起人们的注意。从显示应用来看,反铁电液晶排列稳定,并具有陡阈值特性和双滞后回线的可转换三稳态,在多路驱动显示中很有实用价值。因此,反铁电液晶是在无源矩阵显示中最有前途的材料之一,这种无源矩阵显示图象的效果与有源矩阵显示一样。为了改进以前的6英寸单色显示器,人们研究了反铁电液晶材料,用取向方法和驱动技术。成功地研制成6英寸多色视频显示装置。
Introduction This article focuses on the work of Yamada et al. Anti-ferroelectric liquid crystal (AFLC) shows tri-stable state under the action of an electric field, and has drawn attention in both theory and practice. From the display application point of view, anti-ferroelectric liquid crystal arrangement is stable, and has steep threshold characteristics and dual hysteresis loop switchable trinocular, multi-channel drive display is very useful. Therefore, anti-ferroelectric liquid crystal is one of the most promising materials in passive matrix display, the passive matrix display images with the same effect as the active matrix display. In order to improve on the previous 6-inch monochrome display, anti-ferroelectric liquid crystal materials have been studied using orientation methods and driving techniques. Successfully developed into 6-inch multi-color video display device.
