我们大连机车车辆工厂,是一个有84年历史的老厂。现有职工1万多名,拥有各种设备3,600多台,担负着东风4型内燃机车和C62A敞车的生产任务。解放前,由于生产技术落后,只能修理蒸汽机车和车辆;解放后,经过三次较大的技术改造,改变了生产条件,使工厂成为国内生产大马力内燃机车和60吨全钢敞车的重要基地之一,并取得了较好的经济效益。1954年开始进行第一期技术改造,实现了蒸汽机车由修理到制造的转变,达到年产300台的水平,使产值以每年15%的速度递增;1964年开始进行第二
