Any language is not an eternal unity, which varies according to the place, time and environment, resulting in language variations. Linguists believe that the language of language is constantly changing due to the changes of speakers, which has become a major obstacle to language exchange. Therefore, exploring the reason of the same language variation, describing the state of its existence and studying its social function become the important task of modern linguistics. The purpose of this article is to describe the unique characteristics of American English that have not kept pace with common English language changes and gradually develop its unique linguistic features so that people can better understand and use the language.
