由注射成型所得的塑料制品,常常会产生各种各样的缺点和弊病(图1),其原因主要有以下几方面.(1)模型设计者对塑料的性能特点(如后收缩、流动性等)以及对成型技术的原理过程不了解或不熟悉,因此设计和制造出来的模型不符合正常使用要求;(2)成型操作者没有掌握设备的特点和性能,安装模具或调整机器运转条件不合适;(3)成型操作者没有仔细做好成形的辅助工作.例如原料干燥预热等;(4)成型操作者对塑料性能不熟悉或者是经验不足,所以不能根据塑料的种类,制品的外型和大小,迅速地选择到最合适的工艺条件等.
