转型是世界电信业的大趋势,也是中国电信业长远发展的内在要求。面对时代的变迁、面对行业发展的十字路口,转型成为众多国际电信巨头共同的战略抉择,我国电信企业也在不遗余力地推进转型。于是,转型成为2005年中国电信业最热门的话题之一。运营商具体的转型之路必然有着丰富的个性,没有固有的转型模式可供参考。在转型过程中,运营商面临诸多问题,如果处理不当,这些问题很可能成为运营商的“生死劫”、“致命伤”。在我国运营商推进转型战略关键的2006年,我们有必要总结过去一年运营商转型的经验,吸取教训,提取精华,为运营商进一步推进战略转型“指点迷津”。因此,本刊特请业界专家及运营商代表各抒己见,为运营商转型献计献策。
Transformation is the general trend of the world telecommunications industry, but also the inherent requirement of the long-term development of China’s telecommunications industry. Faced with the changes of the times and the crossroads of the development of the industry, the transformation has become a common strategic choice among many international telecommunications giants. The telecom enterprises in our country are also making every effort to promote the transformation. As a result, the transformation became one of the hottest topics in China’s telecom industry in 2005. The specific path of the transformation of operators must have a rich personality, there is no inherent transformation model for reference. In the process of transition, operators face many problems. If not handled properly, these problems are likely to become “life and death robberies” and “fatal wounds” of operators. In 2006, when operators in our country pushed forward the strategy of transformation, it is necessary for us to sum up the experience of operators’ transformation in the past year, learn lessons and extract the essence so as to further guide the strategic transformation of operators. Therefore, this journal specially invited representatives of industry experts and operators to express their opinions and make suggestions for the transformation of operators.
