日本二战前,由于军国主义的统治,中田邦造的读书指导活动变质成了思想善导的工具。二战后,各地图书馆组织的阅读推广活动迅速发展起来,较为典型的例子是鹿儿岛县的读书活动。比较二战前后的阅读推广活动,它们在理念、形式和阵地等方面发生了重大的变化。这种变化使人更能够看清公共图书馆及阅读推广活动的本质——保障认知自由。
Before Japan’s World War II, due to the rule of militarism, Nakata State’s instructional instruction activities deteriorated into a tool of ideological guidance. After World War II, reading and promotion activities organized by libraries around the country developed rapidly. A typical example is reading activities in Kagoshima Prefecture. Compared with the reading and promotion activities before and after World War II, they have undergone major changes in their concepts, forms and positions. This change gives people a better understanding of the nature of public libraries and reading promotion activities - safeguarding freedom of cognition.
