Undetectable nuclear probe can correctly measure left ventricular ejection fraction (EF). These devices include a single crystal and a photomultiplier tube. Compared with the gamma camera computer imaging system, these devices are light, simple and inexpensive, and can measure the left ventricular function between each stroke. However, due to the “blindness” of applying a fixed ROI and cardiac alignment during data collection, its application to patients with left ventricular aneurysm has its limitations.
