在检定精密的毛细吸管时,如何把水银柱的一端精确调整到远离管嘴的分度线上,是一件不容易的工作。下面所叙述的方法是本文作者几年来在国家物理实验室一直使用的方法。图1所示的装置,是可以用极易获得的材料很快就能做起来的。木条 A 能绕着 B 轴旋转,靠近 A 的末端有一个小圆孔,吸管 C 即通过此孔直立着,管嘴端部放在质地优良的木垫 D 上,木垫 D 是附着在12.7毫米(原文是0.5英时)
When testing a precision capillary pipette, it is not easy to precisely adjust one end of the mercury column to the graduation line away from the nozzle. The methods described below are methods that the author has been using at the National Physical Laboratory for several years. The device shown in Figure 1 can be quickly and easily made using readily available materials.
