在金相显微镜下观察了乳液中不同直径的粒子。大小粒子通过形核长大形成金属间化合物SmCo_5和Sm_2Co_(17)型晶体结构。在这类结构中观察到了某种非晶结构、成分偏离1∶5或2∶17理想配化的晶体结构、Laves相结构及诸如点缺陷和晶粒边界之类的晶格缺陷。表明了在原子级别上用乳液来研究Sm-Co和Sm-Co-Zr合金的形态学是很有用的。
The particles of different diameters in the emulsion were observed under a metallographic microscope. Large and small particles form intergranular SmCo_5 and Sm_2Co_ (17) crystal structures by nucleation and growth. Some sort of amorphous structure has been observed in this type of structure with components deviating from the 1: 5 or 2: 17 idealized crystal structure, the Laves phase structure, and lattice defects such as point defects and grain boundaries. It is useful to study the morphology of Sm-Co and Sm-Co-Zr alloys with emulsions at the atomic level.
