In 1973, Kodak Company of America produced a new type of Kodak Color Film Ⅱ Film. Due to the development inhibitor (DIR) used in the preparation of emulsions and the improvement of the coating structure and process formulation, Film clarity, particle size, processing and other aspects of the old model Kodak color X-ray film has significantly improved. Following the Kodak color base Ⅱ, Japan’s Koshihikari photographic industry, Fujifilm also produced in 1974 and Kodak Color Ⅱ with Sakura Color Fundus Ⅱ and Fuji color at the end of F-Ⅱ type film. The types of development inhibitors, coating structure and photographic characteristics of the above three films are now compared.
