本文在文献[1]的基础上,共研究了13次大、中地震前的b值的区域分布,发现震中附近有个低b值区域,其外围有个高b值区域。这两个区域的半径R与主震震级M_s之间呈对数直线关系,由此可估计地震孕震区的大小,并可粗略地预测未来发生的大震的震级,也还可确定计算b值随时间变化所取的区域范围。另外,还分析了西南地区的永善地震和炉霍地震在不同区域内的震前b值随时间的变化,进一步验证了震前b值变化的相似规律性。
Based on the literature [1], this paper studied the regional distribution of b values before and after 13 earthquakes, and found that there is a low b value near the epicenter and a high b value outside the epicenter.
