任何部位的肿瘤皆可由超高压照射达到足够之肿瘤剂量,但如病变接近放射敏感器官则不宜采用外照射,而局部晚期癌又往往不能彻底切除,故此,作者采用术中放疗,即手术切除病变后在术中做一次大剂量照射。照射野在直视下划定,并可将敏感器官置于射野之外,故能安全而准确地给肿瘤以高剂量而不损伤正常组织。作者采用~(60)钴或电子射线,一次照射剂量鳞癌3000~3500 rad、腺癌为3000~4000 rad。本文报告术中照射用于胃癌等多种肿瘤的临床结果。胃癌术中照射在切除肿瘤之后尚未吻合之前进行,其治疗3组。第一组14例皆有腹腔或肝转移,照射之目的在于决定有效剂量。观察表明一次照射
