“第二大经济实体”一词自2011年开始融入外媒涉华报道中,成为报道中国经济的一个重要标签。本文首先考察了2011年2月至今“第二大经济实体”相关的西方新闻话语全景。重点研究英国大报在新闻话语投射出的中国镜像,通过语料库主题词和语义趋向分析挖掘该类新闻的视角选择和材料组合等新闻操纵手段。
The term “second largest economic entity” has been integrated into the coverage of foreign media reports on China since 2011 and has become an important label covering China’s economy. This paper first examines the panorama of Western news discourse related to “the second largest economic entity” since February 2011. It focuses on the Chinese mirror projected by the British newspaper in news discourse and uses the corpus keyword and semantic analysis to explore the news perspective of such news selection and material manipulation.
