铟不能形成单独的矿物,主要是伴生在铅、锌、铜、锡的矿石里。在冶炼铅、锌、铜、锡的过程中,铟被富集在它们的烟尘残渣里。遵照伟大领袖毛主席关于“综合利用大有文章可做”的教导,密切结合我省有色冶炼的生产实际,为采用络合萃取流程,选择最好的工业萃取条件,综合回收有价金属铟,提供一些基本的实验数据。关于用烷基磷酸酯类萃取剂,从无机酸体系里萃取铟的研究,过去国外做了一些研究,并已有了用二(2-乙基己基)磷酸(D2EHPA),从铅、锌、锡冶炼烟尘的硫酸浸出液中,萃取回收金属铟的工业生产。
