活化膨润土砂能够有效地防止湿型铸件的夹砂缺陷,手工造型时由于活化膨润土砂后干很快,因此拔模、修型通常都要刷上一些水。而活化膨润上型妙在刷水时水不住下渗,出现了“和泥”现象,工具一碰就掉下来,使得工人无法修型。限制了活化膨润土型砂的应用。对于不渗水问题,我们做了初步研究和试验。认为在刷水的型砂中,除了吸附水外,还有一部分可流动的自由水。由于碳酸钠活化后成钠膨润土比未活化的钙膨润土吸水多,因此流动的自由水就少,再在修型刷水型砂中的水份就会变得更多。
