早在五十年代,我国林业科学工作者和一些高等院校师生,就曾深入湖南、贵州、福建、浙江、江西、广东、广西、安徽、陕西等杉木产区总结群众栽杉的速生丰产经验这些工作对推动杉木造林和开展林木速生丰产规律的研究,起着重要作用。为阐明杉木人工林生长发育与环境之间的关系,中国科学院林业土壤研究所从1960年起在杉木中心产区——湖南省会同县疏溪口建立实验站,进行综合性的定位研究,现将所得的一些资料整理综述如后,供参考。
