On May 29, 2007, Russia successfully conducted launch tests on two new types of missiles: RS-24 and R-500. The RS-24 is an intercontinental ballistic missile (more commonly known in the West as the SS-27M, with M representing multiple warheads), while the R-500 is a campaign tactical cruise missile that will be equipped with a Russian strategic rocket unit that will provide Russia Army use. In particular, the success of the test-firing of the new RS-24 intercontinental ballistic missile has been extremely strong in the West. Many western mainstream media have reported it, even calling it a “fuse to restart the Cold War.” As a result, we can see how some western countries developed toward Russia
