新移民的必修课——脱“新”学习和参加培训——自我成长的必由之路加拿大的第一代中国内地移民,基本上都在国内接受了完整的教育。出国后,要么没机会重新接受当地的教育,要么也只是在专业知识上短期充电,很少主动去学习异国文化或管理知识,而缺乏人文知识恰恰是新移民的短板。这几年,一方面是兴趣使然,一方面也是工作需要,我有意识地选读了大量人文方面的书籍,其中有两本书对我影响至深,一本是《Theory U》,另一本是《The New Earth》。刚读完时

They seldom take the initiative to study foreign cultures or managerial knowledge. The lack of humanistic knowledge is exactly the shortcoming of new immigrants. In recent years, on the one hand, I am interested and need work. On the other hand, I consciously read a large amount of humanistic books. Two of them have a profound influence on me.
