糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)是糖尿病的主要微血管病变,也是目前世界上致盲的主要眼病之一.其发病机制复杂,炎症、酶的代谢、细胞因子、离子通道及氧化应激等相关因素的变化均参与DR的病理过程.白细胞介素-18(IL-18)作为人体内一种重要的细胞因子,与机体的许多病变关系密切.目前研究证实,IL-18在糖尿病大血管病变和微血管病变中扮演了重要角色.此外IL-18通过多种方式参与DR的发病机制.笔者现就IL-18的在DR病理生理机制中的信号通路的研究进展作一综述.“,”Diabetic retinopathy (DR), a major microvascular complication of eyes in diabetic patients, is one of the major causes of blindness. Pathogenesis of DR is complex, and the whole pathological process in-volves the changes of inflammation, enzymes, cytokines, ion channels, oxidative stress and other related fac-tors. Interleukin-18 is a cytokine that participates in many pathological changes of human by large number of signal pathways. It has been reported that IL-18 influences the occurrence of macroangiopathy and microan-giopathy by many ways, and is involved in the pathogenesis of DR. We overview the study progress of signal pathways of IL-18 in DR.
