From the experience of the European Union, it is fair to confer the right of regret to consumers when consumers can not check the goods themselves when signing the consumer contracts or because they have not made advance shopping and rush preparations before signing consumer contracts. But for commodities such as houses, giving consumers the right of regretting not only can not protect consumers who have real housing needs, but may rather encourage speculative behavior by the investment consumers.
