针对海底钻机在西南印度洋多金属硫化物矿区调查中反映出来的岩芯收获率低的问题,研究了深海底冲击回转钻进取芯技术,对钻机原有的钻具和取芯工艺进行了优化和改进。改进后的钻机参与了大洋39航次的取样调查作业,结果表明钻机在破碎地层的取芯率和钻进速度得到明显提高,有力地支持了西南印度洋多金属硫化物矿区的调查工作。
