近来关于曹操评价问题,郭老、翦老及其他的先生们正在各抒己见,展开争论。在历史教学工作中究竟怎样处理曹操的历史地位问题,也该及时提出让大家讨论。这里,我提出几点个人的见解。曹操究竟什么时候开始遭到歪曲,我看不必作过多的争论,许劭早就评曹操为“治世之能臣,乱世之奸雄”,陈寿也评曹操是“矫情任算”。也不好过分强调他“能够不信天命,不信鬼神,毁灭邪祠,破除迷信,禁止厚葬,禁止复私仇,诛不避权贵,举能扬侧陋”,以至于“多才多艺,是一位多面手”来肯定他的历史地位,当然这些行动和品质是处在同时代同阶级内的其他分子所不容易办到的
