The cylindrical lens was used to collect the output beam of the semiconductor laser (LD) effectively. The experiment of pre-alignment and multimode fiber coupling was carried out. Using 808nm wavelength, 150μm width of the structure of the laser device, and 200μm core diameter flat-side fiber coupling efficiency as high as 90%, the optical fiber output power of 1.0W. The main factors affecting the coupling efficiency are analyzed
