The research confirmed that the Chaganhadamiao copper deposit in Inner Mongolia belongs to the massive sulfide-type copper-rich deposit. The first confirmation of the type of deposit provided an illustration for the search for Paleozoic massive sulphide type copper-rich ore deposits in the northern margin of the North China block. The Chaganhadamiao copper deposit is located on the northern margin of the North China terrane, and the ore-bearing strata (ie, the ore-bearing strata) are rhyolite tuffs and tuffaceous slate of the Upper Bantu Formation in the Carboniferous. Limestone, biological clastic crystalline limestone. In the ore-bearing rocks there are chert, siliceous rocks, jasperite and fluorite barite. Sulfide orebodies are layered and layer-like, and are produced in rhyolitic tuff and tuffaceous slate strata, and their occurrences are consistent with those of rock strata. The ore-bearing strata in the ore deposit have the characteristics of “trinity” of “pyroclastic rocks, sulphide ore bodies and jasper rocks”. Ore has a banded, layered structure. Ore ore in the main elements of Cu, associated beneficial elements of Au, S, Pb, Zn, copper ore grade is higher, is a copper-rich ore. The geological characteristics of the deposit indicate that it is a massive sulphide type copper deposit. The ore-prospecting sign of this type of deposit is that between the marine acid volcanic rocks and carbonate rocks, there exists jarosite and iron-cap sulfide oxidation zone coexisting with the chert on the surface of the earth; copper , Geochemical anomaly of zinc combination; with low resistance and polarization of the geophysical anomalies.
