They represent two different styles of design, respectively, and in two different ways to tell the world the glory of the old empire. In this paper, two kinds of splendid achievements are summarized from the aspects of historical background, landscape layout and structural features, and on this basis, the differences between the two in aesthetics standards, design intents, garden elements and so on are deeply compared.
