Genetic modification can make corn (Zea mays L.) resistant to herbicides, pests or viruses, increase yield, improve its own quality and better meet human needs. With the development of genetically modified crops, consumers are more concerned with the use of genetically modified crops in food production. Food labels provided by many food manufacturers and food suppliers indicate that their crops are not genetically modified crops, and their authenticity can not be considered . Under such circumstances, it is imperative to establish the identification system and develop the corresponding testing methods. This study describes the screening of LY038 maize insertion sites and the line-specific quantitative detection technique used in reference molecules. The separation method of flanking sequences of LY038 transgenic maize insertion site was established.
