由美国加州大学数学教授项武义先生主持编写的《中学数学实验教材》(以下简称实验教材)是一部能启迪学生思维、培养能力、开发智力的好教材,它的难度较大,内容多,有利于培养数学尖子,适用于重点中学学生学习。对于普通中学是否适宜,我校于1988年秋开始对初一(1)班的新生大胆地进行了尝试。历时三年的实验已结束,现将教学实验情况报告于下。 一、基本情况 1988年秋我校招收的初一年级七个班是按升学成绩,表现及男女比例搭配而编成的平行班,实验班(初一(1)班)。开学初摸底考试的成绩如下表:
