Jet Drill was born in 1963 in Sweden Sandvik company, is one of the solid hole deep hole processing tools. This is a practice that relies on the use of coolants to drill chips for deep hole machining, turning it into a new method that relies on coolant for chip removal. In this way, not only the productivity is not lower than the BTA system, but also far superior to the gun-drilling system, which arouses people’s attention. In particular, it is a clever solution to the BTA system of complex pressure head manufacturing anti-seal problems, and the deep hole machining technology to a new level, making the solid deep hole machining from gun drill, BTA system into a jet drilling system. U.S. forging companies used Sandvik’s T-Max jet drills, often called clip-on jet drills, to drill holes in marine thrusters that were 300 millimeters in diameter and were much more stable and reliable than nesting knives and could completely replace nesting, In this way, the reputation of jet drills is even higher.
